The blog is a platform or website where you write articles on your chosen niche and earn money. The 'Blog' is a short form of 'Weblog' was invented by Jorn Barger on 17 December 1995.

At present time there are 600 million blogs are present in the world. In the US there are 31 million active bloggers posting articles on regular basis or in a week or a month.

Anyone can start a blog. Only you need a device in which you write articles, a Domain, and hosting. Now you are thinking about, what are Domain and Hosting? You will get to know in the next section.

How To Start Blog?

Oh, what I am talking about? How to start a blog and start earning money.

So you need a device Desktop or Laptop or Tablet for writing articles, Domain, and Hosting. 

The domain is the address of a website where internet users can access your website. A domain is the name of the website and used for finding someone's website. There are so may Domains example-.com, .in, .org, .co.uk etc. There are so many websites where you can buy a domain like godeady.com etc.

And Hosting is storage where all your data is saved. Web hosting is a service of internet hosting service that allows individuals and organisations to make their website accessible via the World Wide Web (WWW).

You can buy hosting from so many hosting websites.

Choose The Platform 

Choose the platform on which you want to start blogging. There are many blogging platforms like- 

1. Blogger 
2. WordPress
3. Medium
4. Wix
5. Weebly

Blogger and WordPress are two famous platforms:-

Blogger- Blogger is a free platform that's made for beginners. Blogger provides free hosting and a sub-domain .blogspot.com Domain. And the good thing is Blogger owns by Google. A user can make upto 100 blogs per account. Blogger is especially for beginners. Blogger's dashboard is too user-friendly, so anyone can easily use Blogger.

WordPress- WordPress is a paid platform for Blogging. In WordPress, there are so many features to make it easy to handle the website. For example in WordPress their are so many themes and you can easily customised these themes and in WordPress their are so many plugins available. On the other hand in Blogger there are limited options.

If you are a beginner then use Blogger, after the growth of your website you can transfer your website to WordPress.

After all of this choose your niche and remember that your website name is based on your niche this helps you in SEO.

First of all I wants to tell you that, Only 1% of internet users create content and 99% are consumers of the content.

There are so many reasons to start blogging. It totally depends on you ,what you see in blog, why do you want to start blogging. The reasons are following:-

Through blog you can share your knowledge or your thoughts in the whole world. If you have great knowledge of something that so many people's wants to learn then you can share your knowledge with these people's through Blog. 

For example:- If you are a teacher then you can post study material like Notes, Books, syllabus etc. for students. If visitors like your content then they will revisit your website and become your audience.

Improve Your Skills-

If your are thinking to start a Blog, then it will help you to improve your skills. Through writing articles you can develop your writing skills, reading skills, communication skills. And these skills play a important role in a person's life. 

These skills are important for who they have writing job, for employees, etc. And will help you to improve your theses skills.

If you are a student and looking for a part-time job then Blogging is best for you. Through a blog, you can promote your business. In a blog, you are a boss. Only 1% of internet users create content and 99% are consumers of the content.

 The best reason to start a blog is it gives so many opportunities. If the opportunity is financial growth or self-growth, to meet new people, etc. There are so many opportunities.

How To Earn Money Through Blog?

There are two ways of earning money from blogs. The ways are-

1. Ad- So many Bloggers use Ads on their websites and earn money. You can use Ads on your website too. Google Adsense is famous in the ads industry. You can apply for Adsense approval and after getting approval you can use Ads on your website.

2. Affiliate Marketing- Affiliate marketing is the best way to earn money. In affiliate marketing, you have to promote physical products like smartphones, cameras, etc, and virtual products like apps, software, hosting, etc. Amazon's affiliate program is so good and so many affiliate marketers used to.
